# Kortex

> Kortex is a Chrome extension for Gemini Notebook (formerly Google NotebookLM). It adds what Google does not ship: one-click import from AI chats, social posts and any web page; collections, tags and search across every notebook; automation rules; export to PDF, Markdown, text and ZIP; a podcast feed from Audio Overviews; and Kortex MCP, a server that lets AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor and VS Code work inside your notebooks.

Kortex is free to install, with a Pro plan for unlimited use, sync, automations, the podcast feed and Kortex MCP. It is independent of Google. Every link below is a clean Markdown version of the page; drop the `.md` for the HTML.

Kortex MCP (Pro) is in private beta: only invited members can connect, and invites go out from the waitlist (https://forms.gle/1KeSLTxQHdSwpjPV9). Invited members connect an MCP client to `https://mcp.kortex-notebooklm.com/mcp` with OAuth sign-in or a Kortex API key; see the MCP quickstart below.
